GOVERNMENT ADOPTS MORE ROADS FOR REHABILITATION

By Staff Reporter

The Government says after the successful adoption and rehabilitation of 32 roads in Harare, more roads are set to undergo the same process, as the emergency road rehabilitation program broadens.

This was said by Transport and Infrastructure Development Deputy Minister, Mike Madiro.

Minister Madiro said the Government has met its major targets and has completed road works in Harare such as Kelvin South, Luna, George and Glen Eagles Road.

He also said the Government will now focus on adopting roads with high public usage  both on community and urban level.

Urban councils have been accused of chasing the wrong priorities at the expense of delivering services to the public.
